Japan Trip 2016: Day 2 Part 2 3 Dec 2016 Sat - Tokyo Skytree, Sumida

After lunch, we made our way to Tokyo Skytree, Sumida via the Tobu Skytree Line.

We went for the Fast Skytree tickets (for international visitors) to cut down on substantial waiting time but the tickets were much more expensive than if you queued in the normal lines. We decided to just go up to Tembo Deck (floor 350) and skipped going to Tembo Galleria (floor 450).

It was after 3:30pm when we were at the Tembo Deck. It was crowded. We walked one round, taking in the views but we couldn't see Mt Fuji as it was cloudy. :( I spent some time at the Skytree Shop (floor 345) getting my souvenirs before returning to the Tembo Deck (floor 350) to take my sunset shots.

We left Skytree around 5pm and browsed through the shops at Tokyo Skytree Town and had dinner here before returning to the hotel.
