Ok, I am my usual self again. Hmm... am making plans for tomorrow. Taking a break from my writing. So what shall I do tomorrow?
I have to collect my comics from Brash Basah Complex. Maybe can browse a bit at Popular. Then I can pop over to Raffles City basement for lunch at The Soup Spoon. Thinking of the Boston Clam Chowder. Yummy. Getting hungry. Hahaha. And maybe can also read my book while having a cup of tea at ... somewhere(?).
Hmm... hang on, what's that building next to BBC? Yar, that tall 16-storey modern-looking one. Isn't it the National Library?! Hahaha. Pondering, pondering, pondering... Shall I give it a visit?
What do you all think? :) Hahaha.

Internet's best collection of trade paperbacks. Search for works by Mark Millar, Brian Michael Bendis, Grant Morrison, Joss Whedon (Buffy/Angel writer does comics - Astonishing Xmen!)
Series that are worth reading: Y the Last Man, Fables, Bone.
And getting a NLB membership is FREE!! Up to 4 books can be borrowed but if you want to borrow 8, you'll need to pay for their annual fees. Useful if you borrow graphic novels! :)
Or books for your KIDS!
Enjoy your trip!! :) :) :)
Forgot to sign off in the previous posting LOL
Also, check out The Authority, Planetary, The Ultimates, Ultimate X-men (if you haven't), New X-men. And these should be read 'together' since characters go from one series to the others - Hellblazer, Lucifer, Sandman.
Why do I like the library so much? Because when I was young, my parents would bring me to the old library (the one in Stamford) or the nearby neighbourhood library (which was Queenstown at the time), and I'd enjoy going through the shelves for books to borrow and read. I learned Chess from one of those books. Every 2 weeks, we'd go to the library and I'd borrow heaps of books from there. I rediscovered it again after a long hiatus, and despite having Kino and Borders nowadays, there's nothing like borrowing from the library. Plus it saves on space at home since you can borrow rather than buy (and take up space)...
You should let your kids grow up surrounded by books. They get free membership too you know...
Library Card Carrying Secret Admirer
One graphic novel you might want to get ready tissue for - We3 by Grant Morrison. About animals. Very heartwrenching story (short and gory though).
Oh did I say I like comics LOL
