Happy 20th Anniversary BtVS!
It is the 20th anniversary of Buffy the Vampire Slayer today! I cannot believe it was 20 years ago that I first watched Buffy. It seems like it was only yesterday haha.
I know how I will celebrate 20 years of Buffy. A marathon of Buffy Seasons 1-7 and Angel Seasons 1-5!!!

New Korean Addiction
My girls and I are now hooked on another Korean historical drama that is currently showing on Channel U lol. It is really a torture just waiting to know what happens one episode at a time. We managed to rent all 5 volumes of the Korean drama, The Great Queen Seondeok. :) That's a total of 25 dvds (3 episodes in each dvd) to watch lol. :P

Blogger's "Create New Post" is working fine for the second day running. :) I can finally change font colour, add photos and so on. It feels great to be creative again lol. Singnet has finally gotten its act together. FINALLY! :)

I managed to buy the last copy of Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea DVD from That CD shop for the girls. I had promised them that I will get them the Ponyo DVD. Besides, I also enjoyed watching Ponyo. I love its animation, colours and soundtrack in the movie. The Ponyo DVD I bought is a two-disc special edition that came in a tin box. A Studio Ghibli Collection item. :)

Merry Christmas, Peaceful Christmas
Merry Christmas to Everyone! :)
It is a peaceful Christmas for us. After a sumptuous (and heavy) Christmas Eve dinner, we decided to stay home to watch a boy and some snakes. Lol.
A boy = Hellboy 2.
Snakes = Anaconda 3: The Offspring.
We rented some DVDs to pass the time lol. Hellboy 2 is good, it's the second time I have seen it and I still laughed at the funny moments. I like Hellboy too. :) As for Anaconda 3, can skip it, folks. Although I enjoyed watching Anaconda 1 and 2, No. 3 was a total waste of time. :( I could have watched Iron Man instead. Yup, we rented the Iron Man DVD too. Sigh.
Anyway, I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. :)

DVD night
Yesterday after work, I went to Borders to buy DVDS since it was the last day for the 3 for 2 dvd/ vcd deal. I bought Kungfu Panda (for the girls), The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (for the girls and myself) and Transformers (for myself). I also bought 2 books by L. Hamilton. :)
After dinner, close to 7:30pm, we watched Prince Caspian. The girls were most excited to finally watch the sequel. They really liked the first one - Aslan, the centaurs, the griffins, the talking animals... :) I am surprised that they sat through the whole 150 minutes of Prince Caspian. :) We didn't finish the movie until 10pm which was way past the girls' bedtime! I think everyone enjoyed Prince Caspian, including my parents lol. I love the music scores in the movie. Maybe I will get the sound track.
After the girls have gone to bed, I watched Transformers on my notebook lol. Already told you, it is DVD night. A pity, I am missing the popcorn. :P

DVD Night
It has been quite a long while since we have rented any DVDs, well at least that's the case for my girls and I. The girls' father has been renting and watching his Hong Kong serials. He is much more "Auntie" than you realised. Give him some sweet and sour stuff (oh, he loves eating those), he's the perfect "Auntie". Lol.
Anyway, we still have some coupons left at the DVD rental shop that we frequent at River Valley Point. So we went in the evening to rent a few DVDs. The girls' father picked out a few titles. But when I saw them, our conversation went like this:
Me: "Spiderman 3, seen.
Him: "Arh, then this one?"
Me: "Die Hard 4.0, seen."
Him: "Huh, then this?!"
Me: "Vacancy, seen."
Him: "What have you not seen?!"
Hahaha. That is the advantage of working part-time. I have time to watch movies in the cinema, lol. I picked out two titles which I haven't had the time to see them at the cinema - Blood & Chocolate and The Reaping. I also told him that I certainly don't mind watching Transformers again although I have seen it in the cinema. =)
In the end, we chose Spiderman 3, Die Hard 4.0, Blood & Chocolate, Transformers, Shooter and chosen by the girls, Mr Bean and 3 of the Barbie Princess series. Everyone went home happy with something they want to watch.
I much prefer to watch movies in the cinema because there is a kind of movie magic that can't be recreated at home. But sometimes, I guess there is no choice. Lol. :P
