Ondeh Ondeh Cake

Ondeh ondeh, the classic Malay kueh which are traditional green-coloured balls of rice cake filled with liquid palm sugar (gula melaka) and coated in grated coconut, has always been a favourite dessert for my father and I. (Yes, we both have sweet tooth!) 
Now there is also ondeh ondeh cake which I can indulge in!

My RA and friend, Cheryl and I went for data collection today. We rewarded ourselves with bingsu after a good day's work. :)

I enjoy eating traditional flavours such as Injeolmi because of the glutinous rice cakes and roasted soybean powder.

I ate Raindrop

I finally ate Raindrop as in the dessert haha. Have heard about it but have never eaten one. Still don't understand why it is called a Raindrop cake. It is not even close to a cake, a jelly is more like it. I can't really describe its taste. Maybe I need to have another one lol.

Sweet Debriefing

After another day of data collection, my RA/friend, Cheryl and I had a debriefing and break at a cafe nearby the school. It was a sweet debriefing with our charcoal waffles and ice cream. :)

Downtime
