Tourist at Home

My mother hardly visits attractions in Singapore, except for the Botanic Gardens for her daily walks. However when her friend is in Singapore, she would become a "tourist" and accompany her friend. It is good that she gets out and enjoy herself. Today, they went to S.E.A. Aquarium at Sentosa. 

Visitor Coming

My mother's friend from Taiwan is coming for a short visit over the weekend. She will arrive tomorrow Friday 15 April and returns to Taiwan on Tuesday 19 April. For convenience, my mother has invited her to stay with us and she will be staying in my bedroom. 

Noisy Visitor

There was a noisy visitor to our home this morning. It was so noisy and loud that it felt as if I was in the gardens instead of being at home! I managed to locate our visitor. Can you guess what it is? 

It is a cicada. I pointed it out to my girls and managed to take a photo of it before it felt that there was too much attention on it and flew off lol. It is amazing that such a tiny creature can produce so loud a sound! The wonders of Mother Nature. :)
