On My Way Home
It was a packed train (like when it isn't at peak hour). I managed to get a spot right next to the door. I was greeted by the sight of a brilliant sunset. It accompanied me for most part of my journey home.

Sunset in Singapore
So far, this is the more beautiful sunset that I have seen since the start of 2014. It was taken a week ago on Good Friday from my apartment looking towards Botanic Gardens.
The colours were amazing (mostly orange, red, pink) and it was also a fabulous sight to see the sun setting.

Gold Coast Fun (Shopping) Day 2
Two words to describe the sunrise as seen from the living room balcony - Beautiful! Breath-taking!
I woke up at 4am, patiently took photos of the sunrise, standing at the balcony in the cold, windy Gold Coast morning until 5am. After which, I went back to sleep until 9-ish am lol. :)
We headed out to Habour Town Outlet Shopping via bus and arrived just 12pm. I immediately launched in "SHOP" mode and hit the very first shop I saw which happened to be one of my favourite fashion brands in Australia. :P After one and a half hours of non-stop shopping, we finally break for lunch.
At the first restaurant we saw, Nonna's, we went for it lol. Well, we did ask Azlina first if she could eat at Nonna's. :) Nonna's is actually made up of three restaurants - Nonna's Italian, Nonna's Seafood and Nonna's Steakhouse side by side each other and you can order from any of the three menus. Both Juliane and I ordered half-portion of our Italian dishes - Carbonara Pasta for Juliane and Seafood Risotto for me. Azlina had a Vegetarian Pizza. Food arrived within 10 minutes of our ordering, very efficient and fast service!. When our dishes arrived, our jaws dropped. The half-portion was huge, like an adult portion in Singapore! We both had to pack home half of our half-portions, even Azlina too lol. :P I don't mind eating here again if I come back to Habour Town. The waitresses are all very friendly, the service is efficient and fast and they accede to your requests most readily. :)
After lunch, we shopped for another hour and a half before heading back to Broadbeach, just after 4pm.
We went to the beach once we arrived back at Broadbeach close to 5pm. It was really fun to walk on the beach. It was windy and cool. Juliane was tickled to stand on the beach with the waves rushing in onto the beach. We saw some crustaceans with barnacles growing on them. We also saw seagulls who were really bold and walking quite close to us lol.
By 6pm, we were back at our apartment because I wanted to take photos of the sunset. Alas, the sunset was behind us and our view of the sunset was blocked by the other apartment buildings. :(
For dinner, we had our left-overs from lunch which was more than keep us full. :) We wanted to take The Oasis Monorail from Oasis Shopping Centre which is next block to us, to go to Jupiters for a look see. But the monorail was closed so we ended up shopping at Woolworths instead and buying more stuff to bring back to Singapore lol. :P
