Japan Trip 2016 Photos

I have taken over 4000 photos on my mobile camera for this Japan Trip 2016! :O Despite bringing my Sony camera along, it was much more convenient to use my phone camera to take photos! I will need time to sort them out before posting on my blog.

Updating Seoul Trip 2015

I realised that I have only been back in Singapore for a week! But it feels like my Seoul holiday was a long, long time ago. Guess that is how overwhelmed with work I have been since I came back. :( Sincere apologies that I haven't updated on my Seoul Trip 2015. I have started re-organising the photos I took in Seoul as I tended to take 100-200+ photos per day. I shall strive to update my blog on the rest of my Seoul Trip 2015 by the end of the coming week.
Thank you for your patience! :)

Blogging Soon

We are back in Singapore after our 6 day trip to Penang (8-13 November 2014)! :) It has been really fun. It will take me some time to choose and upload the photos on my blog as I took close to 1000 photos for this Penang trip! :P Please bear with me and I will try to upload my photos as soon as I can. Thanks! :)

Limit's Reached

Oops. I just discovered that I have reached 99% of my 1GB quota for photos. :( I have heard of bloggers who have retired from blogging totally because of this limit. There are two more options available. I can either start paying a monthly fee to purchase additional storage space or I can downsize my photos to a certain size. Guess it is easier to downsize my photos. :) I apologise in advance if the quality is not as good as before.

Photo Update

Realised that the photo "My Girls and I" on my blog was really outdated. It was of the girls when they were much younger, when they were in kindergarten. I also realised that I have not been taking a lot of photos with the girls in the last year or so lol. I have now updated the photo of us. It was taken on my birthday last year - we are older definitely and hopefully, wiser lol. :P

Photos of Denver

I took plenty of photos when I was in Denver and of The Rocky Mountains. I have yet to sort them out properly. I will upload the photos once I have sorted them out. Soon I hope so please bear with me. Thanks. :)

Luna

I was in the kitchen watching my cup when I looked up into the sky and was amazed by what I saw.

The moon, the waning gibbous moon to be exact, was nicely framed by clouds. It was a beautiful sight. The photo doesn't do it justice.

Flickr II

I have finally uploaded my photos onto Flickr after a number of tries. Hahaha. :P First, I forgot to place some of the photos into the set intended and ended up having to cross-check each one. Next, I couldn't get the photos to appear in the order I wanted them in. I ended up having to delete the set and up-load the photos all over again at least twice! :P

Ok, I know instructions would be somewhere but I am just too impatient to locate and read them. :) It is ok, I learn better by trial and error haha. :P

Flickr

I have a Flickr account which I signed up for almost a year ago. I thought I would upload my photos onto Flickr so that my family and friends could view them. However, procrastination and laziness got in the way... until now lol.

My centre recently had a New Year lunch and I was one of the unofficial photographers. :P I shall figure out how to use Flickr and upload the photos taken so that my friends and colleagues can view them. :)

I will let you guys know once the photos are uploaded onto Flickr. :)

Last Weekend before CNY

This morning, it was going to Bengawan Solo to get cakes and giving them as CNY goodies to my grandaunt, a close family friend and my primary school teacher. After that, Juliane and I were dropped off at Suntec City mall. The main purpose for going there was to collect the studio photo that I took during my staff lunch last Saturday.

Before we went to collect my photo, we had lunch at Shillawon Korean restaurant, Sky Terrace. We were both missing Korean food lol. :P We shared a Dweji Boolgogi Set ($11++): marinated grilled pork which came with 3 side dishes, rice, seafood soup and fresh fruits. We both love the grilled pork which was sweet to the taste. Most delicious. :)

After lunch, we stopped at Toys 'R' Us for Juliane's "turn-turn" before going to the photo studio. However, on the way to the studio, I got side-tracked. We ended up browsing at boutiques on the 3rd level and I bought 3 dresses from one boutique. Well, they were on promotion, a real bargain, haha. :P Ok, no more shopping for the next few months, lol.

Wow, all 6 photos of me looked great! :) We are given a free 3R photo because of the staff lunch. In the end, I bought another 4R photo for $12 and both photos received digital touch-up and lamination. The staff at the studio was very nice. Instead of asking me to go back in a week's time to collect, he asked me to collect the photos in an hour's time. :) Meanwhile, Juliane and I went to Atrium to have fun decorating cookies with icing. With my purchases, we were entitled to 3 cookies for decorating.

After collecting the photos, we went home tired but happy.

In the night, we spoke to my brother and his younger son via Internet. It is the first time the girls saw their younger cousin and they were thrilled. I hope they will have the opportunity to go to UK in the near future to meet their cousins in person.

Images Around Singapore III

I carry my camera 24/7 with me wherever I go. It is as important as my IC and my credit cards, lol. You never know when an opportunity for photography might arise and I feel a great sense of achievement when I take nice photos. :) So it pays to be prepared with the camera in my bag but I am also paying in another way... I am now having shoulder/ neck ache. :( My bag is too heavy, lol. :P

Here are some photos that I have taken around Singapore. :)

Images around Singapore

Some photos that I have snapped around Singapore with my new camera. Still learning to deal with the contrast, the light... so bear with me. =)

Smile! You are on camera.

Ok. As requested. Here are some of the recent photos we took. We are sometimes so lazy about taking photos. Those of you with kids would understand. Have to be really fast in your trigger finger to catch them while they are in the mood to take photos, sometimes the lighting is not right and you have to retake, etc... But we did manage to take some during Decemeber 2006 and January 2007.

Marieann's 5th b'day celebration (2 Jan 2007)

Ok. And some from the December 2005 trip to Brisbane. It was the first overseas trip with the two girls. Afterthat, their father surrendered and said he wouldn't go overseas with them again until they are much OLDER. Hahaha.

Photo with the koala at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. But the girls weren't too thrilled, only the parents! Hahaha

The girls at the Surfers Paradise beach, almost. Too hot to get out in the sun!

Sheraton Mirage Hotel, Gold Coast. As usual, only the parents were looking at the camera.

That's it for now. Hope you are happy. We will try to upload the photos when we take more, IF we get round to taking the photos. Hahaha.
