Happy 4th Birthday, Juliane!

Dear Juliane,

Happy 4th Birthday. Wishing you lots of love, hugs and lollies. :)

love,
Mummy, Papa, Jie Jie, Ah Ma, Ah Gong, Uncle and Aunty and cousins in UK.

Today is Juliane's 4th birthday. As I had Staff Lunch and Party (more about it in another post) until mid afternoon, we celebrated her birthday in the evening over dinner. Her Kai Ye, Anthony happened to be back for work again and it was great that he could join us for dinner. Juliane was definitely thrilled to see her Kai Ye. Anthony brought us to have dinner at this new and delightful cafe, Cafe Fahrenheit (more about this cafe in another post). Dinner was wonderful: the food was great and the company was excellent. Juliane interacted with her Kai Ye a lot more this time. She totally skipped the intial shy, shy stage with her Kai Ye. Maybe she is in a good mood as it is her birthday?? Lol. When we sent Anthony back to the hotel, Juliane's Kai Ma, Ivy called from England. Juliane again wasn't shy at all and spoke to her Kai Ma for a while. After the call, she started chanting "Kai Ma" in a song-like manner, lol. I think she is high on all the sugar from the desserts, hahaha. We have made plans to meet with Anthony again next weekend. :)

When we arrived home, we had a mini birthday celebation. I bought a Mixed Fruits cake for Juliane. She was most happy to sing the Happy Birthday song to herself and blowing out the candles on her cake again. She loved cutting her own cake which she was able to do without help. She served her Ah Ma the first piece of birthday cake. Good girl! :) As it is her birthday, we allowed her to sleep slightly later and so that she could eat her cake too. She finished her cake, cleaned up and went to bed at 10pm. By 10:30pm, she was fast asleep. :) I think she had a great day today.

PS. Her Uncle in UK called in the late afternoon to wish Juliane Happy Birthday. Her younger cousin, Matthew sang her a Happy Birthday song too. Her Uncle, Aunty and cousins had sent Juliane's and Marieann's birthday presents from UK earlier in the week. The girls were thrilled with their presents and cards. Thank you, YM.
