My Favourite Fantasy

What are you thinking?! Haha. :P
My favourite fantasy novels are The Elenium trilogy and the sequel, The Tamuli trilogy by David Eddings. Plenty of action, excitement and humour.
I rediscovered the happiness of reading these two fantasy series after finding them stashed deep within my cupboard when I was doing the "spring cleaning" during Christmas last year.

New Adventures Needed

I need new adventures! To read!! :)
I finished reading 8 books in the Event Group Adventure series by David Goleman in one and a half month. There is a 9th Event Group book but I can anticipate that I will finish it no time. I need to find other thriller/ adventure series to read. Ok, James Rollins has a new book out, The 6th Extinction but I still need new series to read so that I can be occupied while waiting for the new release(s) from my favourite series. :P

Recap

James Rollins' new book "The Eye of God", which is the latest in the Sigma Force series, was released in June. However, I cannot recall what had happened in "Bloodline" which was the previous novel in the Sigma Force series. No harm reading Bloodline again to recap so that I can read "The Eye of God". :)

Singapore's Third Series Coins

Singapore's Third Series Coins are released this year on 25 June 2013. I finally managed to collect all the new coins. The new coin designs feature national icons and landmarks such as the Merlion ($1 coin), the Port of Singapore (50 cents coin),  the Changi Airport (20 cents coin), the Public Housing (10 cents coin) and the Esplanade (5 cents coin) and all the new coins have a common unifying symbol of the lion head.
It is going to take me quite a while to get used to the new coins. I still prefer the First Series Coins (Marine series) and the Second Series Coins (Floral series) because I personally feel that they represent Singapore a lot better. The flora and marine creatures mean energy and life, much better than the buildings featured on the Third Series coins. Just my two cents worth. No pun intended! Haha. :P
