A friend shared with me the air ticket promotion advert from a travel agency. I am thinking of going away in June with Juliane (Marieann does NOT want to fly this year no matter what. Sigh.). I wonder if there will be more air ticket promotions later on...

New Designation
With effect from 6 June 2012, I have been re-designated from Research Associate to Research Fellow. I was surprised when colleagues started congratulating me on my promotion after they saw the announcement on the centre's online staff updates. Somehow I never saw it as a promotion lol. :P I guess it might be because I have known about this "re-designation upon conferment of my PhD" condition in my contract for a long time that I have become indifferent to it.
