First in 2017 II

After a sleepless night (because of my stuffy nose), I went to see the doctor in the morning. I have flu and also loss of voice and I was given two days of medical leave. My first medical leave for the year.
I really wanted to rest but had to deal with lots of emails which made me even more tired and sick. :( :(

Acute Gastroenteritis

I went to see the doctor in the morning and was diagnosed as having acute gastroenteritis. :S Remember Monday I was already feeling queasy in the stomach? Throughout Tuesday, while at work, I continued to feel uncomfortable and had stomach cramps. In the night, I had very bad diarrhoea. I was visiting the toilet non-stop from10pm+ until 3am+. I was so exhausted and weak from all the going in and out of the toilet that I wanted to just camp out in the toilet to save me from moving. :( 

The doctor gave me 2 days of sick leave. I definitely need the rest, especially after last night.

On Medical Leave

I went to the doctor this morning because of my "merlion" act last night. The throwing up has ceased and the headache had subsided to a dull throbbing.

Well, it was food poisoning. :( I was given a day of medical leave. It has been a while since I was last on medical leave. It was actually kind of nice to laze around, read, sleep and do nothing but after I sent out a couple of work emails lol. Still can't really just forget about work lol. :P
