My First Invited Keynote!

Another milestone in my academic career. 
I was invited to give a keynote at a secondary school. It is my first keynote on Student-Involved Assessment: Student Self-assessment. What an experience! I was video-recorded lol. :)

Guest Lecture

I have been invited to give a guest lecture on self-assessment to a group of Masters students in late October, actually on my birthday. Lol. It is going to be quite an experience. :)

Invited

My MFA friend  has an extra ticket and invited me to attend the National Day Parade (NDP) 2014. :) The last and only time I was at NDP was back when my friend's late grandfather was the President of Singapore! That NDP was held at the Padang. NDP 2014 will be held at The Float@Marina Bay. Apparently this will be the last NDP against the iconic city backdrop. I am excited! :)

Wedding Invitation

I have just received my first wedding invitation from my student whom I taught in primary school! :) This is so exciting! She is not the first of my students to be married but she is the first to invite me. I am really touched. My girls are also invited and they are very excited as well. :)
