The Vet Cats

That's we call the pet cats belonging to the veterinarian who opened an animal clinic on the first floor of our apartment block. The vet has at least two pet cats that we know of who live in the clinic. This has resulted in us unconsciously leaving home (for school and for work) slightly earlier and going home a little later just so we can greet the friendly cats who would come right to the glass door and meowing away at us. :) The girls have been thinking how they could bring the cats home haha.

2014 Chinese Zodiac Animal Forecast

One of my favourite things to do before Chinese New Year is to find out what my Chinese zodiac animal forecast as well as that of my daughters', my parents', my brother's, my sis-in-law's and my nephews' forecasts are for the Chinese New Year. Most of the shopping malls in Singapore would have the Chinese zodiac animals' forecast for the coming year of the Horse. I have been to three shopping malls near my workplace during lunch time and so far, some zodiac animals have excellent forecasts, some have bad ones, and some are mixed. I endeavoured to look for good/ excellent forecast for all the Chinese zodiac animals, if possible. I found it! :)

Wanted: A Loving Home for a Veggie-loving Dog

My dear friends and blog readers, there is a dog in urgent need of a loving home. Please forward this post to dog lovers whom you think may be able to provide a good and loving home to this dog. Thanks much in advance.

"My wife's family has a 9 yr old mixed breed (ie mongrel) dog that they adopted when young (was a stray). They have had to move from a house with garden to a much smaller apartment which will not allow for a large dog. As a result they have decided to call the SPCA which as you know, will put him down.

This dog was involved in a road accident when he was a puppy - silly boy ran across a crowded road and got hit by a car which promptly ran off. The family nursed him back to health, and aside from a slightly-loopy ear, he's now as contented as a slightly-loopy-eared-dog can be.

He can be quite timid, but is a gentle dog. He doesn't bite and he is generally sociable (except for vets, which he can spot a mile away). Because of his age, he's not as active as before, although he's still quite a well, heavy-set, dog. He's a vegetarian too

Yes, I can be very, very stubborn when I want to be and my stubbornness can get my family and friends pretty exasperated at times haha. :P
