Time Forgotten Places in Singapore

How many of you know about the existence of a Hakka Cemetery (Ying Fo Fui Kun) in central Singapore, namely in the Commonwealth/ Queenstown area?
I suspect not many Singaporeans know about it, even some of the Commonwealth/ Queenstown residents unless they happened to live nearby the cemetery.
I came across this time forgotten place by accident some time back, during the Ghost month (7th lunar month) actually. Personally, I don't find cemeteries creepy. In fact, I feel cemeteries serene, peaceful and full of history. With Ying Fo Fui Kun being the oldest Hakka clan association, there is plenty of heritage for Singaporeans to learn, and for a whole generation of younger Hakkas to discover as well as for the older generation of Hakkas to reconnect.
What is the story behind Ying Fo Mansion and its swimming pool?
