Christmas Eve
We basically stayed at home. Didn't go out for dinner unlike last year. I am always the one who made suggestions where to go for Christmas Eve dinner, New Year's Eve dinner, etc. I decided to take a break this year, as it is tiring always being the one deciding where to go for meals and such. I thought the girls' father might look into it. How wrong I was. He just couldn't be bothered... :(

I guess in the end it all boils down to how much time you guys spend together as a family. We probably emphasize more on holiday dinner/lunch as we grow older because we all have our own individual thing going on and don't spend so much time as a family to sit down and have a meal. and hence use the holidays as an excuse to get together and catch up.
PS: i think you would have ended up eating jap anyway since your daughters love it so much. Happy holidays!
Thanks for your comment. :) Yes, we would have ended up eating Jap regardless of the occasion! Haha. Happy holidays too (belated)!
