Chinese or English?

I was searching for something in the English papers on Sunday. However, I could find no trace of the news! I swore I read it in the papers. While trying to recall if it was the Sunday papers or maybe papers from Saturday, I flipped through the Chinese papers. Lo and behold, the news I was looking for was in the Chinese papers! I was very surprised as I thought my Chinese has always been stronger and I would be inclined to remember better in Chinese. I realised I must have read the news which is in Chinese. My mind then translated it into English so that it could be filed and stored it away as English.
I have a question for people who are bilingual.
For those of you who are bilingual, which language do you remember your things (in your mind) in?

你怕我!

"你怕我!" this was what Marieann said to her grandfather when she came out of the room and nearly bumped into her grandfather. I overheard it and I burst into unstoppable laughter.
Marieann did a literal translation of English "You scared me!" into Mandarin. What Marieann had said in Mandarin was "You are scared of me!" ("你怕我!") instead of "You scared me!" which should be "你吓到我!".
It was so darn funny to hear her telling her grandfather that "he is scared of her"! Hahaha. But Marieann learnt now why literal translation is not good... I think.

How are you?

Goodness, this blogthing quiz is good lol. :) "How are you?" is how I greet people, especially my counsellees. See my responses in orange.
You Are "How Are You?"

When you ask someone what's going on in her life, you truly want to know. You are very genuine. You are a compassionate and empathetic person. You want the best for everyone.
It just screams "counsellor", doesn't it? Lol.

Your life is an open book, and you appreciate it when other people are open with you.
Once someone is your friend, she'll be a friend for life. You value friendship that much.
Yes, a good friend has commented that I am like an open book. :P Yes, I definitely prefer that people are open with me. Yes, friendship is important to me. :)
