That Moment of Truth from Game of Thrones S6E2

My mother is a loyal and faithful follower of Game of Thrones. During that final crucial scene in Episode 2 of Season 6, I was disappointed that Jon Snow remained "dead". But my mother told me to wait for it. She said, "He will come back to life again when everyone has left the room". 
"Yeah, sure and you are the director", I answered her. And of course, she was absolutely right a second later!!

I learnt my lesson. Never argue with those who have faith. And most importantly, NEVER argue with your mother! :P

Closet Korean Drama Fan

I finally realised that I am a closet Korean romantic drama fan. :P
The girls started watching "Fabulous Boys" on Channel U and asked their father to buy the series as they really like it. Unfortunately their father bought the Korean version instead of the Taiwanese version which is what's on TV now. Apparently, "Fabulous Boys" (2013) is a cover of the original Korean drama, "You're Beautiful" (2009) and there is also a Japanese version, "Ikemen desu ne" (2011) lol.
I started watching the Korean version with the girls and found myself hooked to the story! We could watch the series for the entire afternoon non-stop haha. Although I can't understand the Korean songs in the series, I like them a lot. :)

Ghost in the Fan

The girls and I were watching television in the living room after dinner. The fan, which was switched on, was behind us. Suddenly, the fan went "beep, beep, beep, beep, beep". The three of us turned behind to look at the fan when the "beeping" was still going on. Marieann whispered, "There's a ghost in the fan". Collectively, we shuddered and then we turned back to watching the tv with the fan still turning.

There are buttons on our fan that beep when they are pressed. Lately, our fan has been acting strangely. It "beeps" (switches) on and off on its own. Whenever that happens, I would check the timer on the fan but it is not activated at all! Ok with the single "beep" on and off, maybe I can still explain it as the "on/off" button being faulty. But with the continuous "beep, beep, beep, ..." it is like someone or something is pressing on the button continuously. I really have no explanation how that could happen, except...

Come to think of it, it is a wonder the three of us didn't just run off in terror when the "beep, beep, beep, beep, beep" started lol.
