"Dim Sum Basket"

I finally got a glimpse of the "Dim Sum Basket" building at Nanyang Technological University. It really looks like those dim sum baskets at yum cha lol. It is the new learning hub in use since March 2015. Wonder how it looks like inside. 

Fisher Street Warehouse

This is Fisher Street warehouse, near the Singapore River. It is a well-preserved building from the early 20th century. I love red brick buildings.
If one has the time and if one is willing, there is plenty of history amidst modern Singapore waiting for us to discover. :)

Tragedy Strikes

Just heard on the news that two buildings collapsed in New York city after an explosion with 1 death and more than a dozen injured. The cause of the explosion could be due to a gas leak but still pending investigation. The emergency responders are still looking for survivors. It is likely there may be more fatalities... :( Hope they find more survivors.
