Hong Kong Trip 2015 Day 3 Big Bus Stanley Tour

We slept in a little with it being a Sunday and we are on holiday! Today's weather was perfect, a little cloudy but no rain! We were on the second day of our Big Bus hop-on-hop-off tour to Stanley (Green route). We made the journey across to Central from Tsim Sha Tsui via the ferry. I really like taking the ferry. :)
At Tsim Sha Tsui Pier
Once again, we settled ourselves on the upper deck of the topless bus. :) We arrived in Stanley around 11:30am. My primary goal in Stanley was to visit the Blake Pier and Murray House. The Stanley Market was secondary lol. :P

After the pier and the colonial house, we took a leisurely walk around the Stanley Plaza, Stanley Main Street and Stanley Market.
We had lunch at one of cafes looking out to the Blake Pier. The food was really delicious and value for money too.
Grilled Pork with suateed mushrooms, mashed potato and salad
Roasted Salmon with peas
After lunch, we proceeded to Aberdeen to take the sampan ride. However upon reaching Aberdeen, I noticed the waters were choppy. Decided to miss the sampan ride and instead returned to Central. On the way, we passed by Repulse Bay again and I was able to take photos as I was on the correct side of the bus lol.

We spent a little time at the Central Pier before going back to Stanley where my cousin, Rita was picking us up for dinner at 5:30pm. Cousin Rita brought us to Times Square, Causeway Bay for Roast Goose! :) Yum! A huge bonus for us - we saw giant-sized Lego figurines of Star Wars characters!

Roast Goose! Delicious.
Absolutely love this - Sweet and Sour Pork on Ice!

After dinner, my cousin dropped us back at the Central Pier and we took the ferry back to Tsim Sha Tsui. I took more photos of the Hong Kong night scene. :)

We returned to the hotel just after 10pm. Tomorrow we are off to Ngong Ping 360, Citygate Outlets, and Sky100. Another full day. :)
