Today is the 7th day of Chinese New Year, also known as Day of Men or 人日 (rén rì). Today is the day when all men grow a year older and is celebrated with Yusheng (鱼生, yúshēng), also known as Lo Hei (usually a salad made with thinly sliced raw fish, shredded vegetables and a variety of sauces and condiments) which has a symbolic meaning of abundance, prosperity and vigour.
We had yusheng today at dinner to celebration everyone's birthday. :)
