Juliane is down with flu and high fever. It has been quite some time since she last had high fever. Her temperature went as high as 39.5C. Juliane was given one day's medical leave for today and also to be excused from her school's swimming programme on Monday 29 October.
She slept most of the time and didn't have much appetite. Her temperature fluctuated between 38C and 39.2C, especially in the night. I had to keep replacing the ice packs which were used to lower her temperature because they warmed up so fast due to her high temperature. It was worrying that her temperature is so high. I hope she will recover and be back to her normal self soon.

My nephew has been having fever for the past two weeks - temperature going up and down like a roller coaster ride
The doctor couldnt tell my sister what was wrong except that a viral fever bug is going around.

She is definitely better but it was no joke looking after her when the temperature was fluctuating away from 38+C to 39+C. Was so scared it would hit 40C... THANK GOODNESS, it is over. A bug is certainly going around. You take care too.
