That's what the girls said when we landed in Sydney at 5am, 15 minutes ahead of schedule. Well, that's what winter is! Lol.
By 5.45am, we cleared customs and collected our luggage.
By 6.30am, I have a Oz number to use when in Sydney and we were on our way to our hotel via the airport transfer.

By 7.15am, we arrived at Rydges World Square, our home for the next 9 days. I was told that check-in time is after 2pm. However, the receptionist must have seen the "OMG" drop jaw looks on my girls' faces that he consulted with his manager. We were given an upgrade of the room and we could check in immediately! The perks of having a kid around lol. :P The room was nice and spacious for the three of us.
After resting or rather napping for an hour and a half, we left for our sight-seeing in Sydney at 9.45am. Our first stop was the Sydney Aquarium. The girls were really excited, actually so was I. I miss my Tap Reef on my iPad haha. :P
After our Aquarium visit, I realised that our Sydney Bonus Ticket (prepaid) required us to complete our visit to Sydney Aquarium, Sydney Wildlife World and Sydney Tower by today! I had to change plans on the spot. At 12.30pm, we went for lunch at The Meat & Wine Co. at Cockle Bay (which was supposedly for dinner) so that we could visit Sydney Tower after our Sydney Wildlife World visit after lunch. The girls both had Grilled Chicken Strips (A$10) while I had Kangaroo Fillet (A$29). My favourite kind of red meat lol. The dishes were really tasty.
At Sydney Wildlife World, the girls saw koalas, kangaroos, wombat, wallabies, crocodiles, as well as other insects, reptiles and animals indigenous to Australia.
At Darling Harbour
By 3.45pm, we were on our way to Sydney Tower via the monorail. The view was really nice. The only unfortunate thing was the sky was heavily overcast so we couldn't really see the sunset but we still managed to take some nice photos.
In the monorail on our way back to our hotel, the girls were falling asleep lol. Finally, the exhaustion was catching up with them. But to give them credit, they have never walked so much haha. :P We bought a few grocery items from the supermarket at the World Square Shopping Centre connected to our hotel.
By 7pm, Marieann was already knocked out and in bed sleeping. Juliane held out for an hour longer. It is so strange to see them both in bed and sound asleep by 8pm haha. It has been a long but interesting day for them.
Tomorrow we are off to the Blue Mountains. :)
